The first sales of the year starts with a gorgeous dress set!
I named it "Goldfish in a fishbowl.”
The bright red velvet cape and the fluttering, soft silk rayon ribbon remind me of a goldfish. Also, the combination of green floral chiffon fabric for the dress and the kimono fabric used as the lining are like a goldfish swimming in a fishbowl, so I thought the name is perfect.
■ Cape
A intense colored velvet cape decorated with a small handmade corsage.
■ One Piece
Mase of soft floral patterned chiffon fabric which I found in Taiwan. Adorned with plenty of powder pink tulle on the hem. Drop-shaped beads adds transparent feel to it. The fabric for lining has printings looking like swimming goldfish, therefore layering it underneath the transparent green chiffon adds some nuance to the dress.
■ Miniature book
In order to give the book a vintage feel, I used dead stock paper from the East Germany era for the book pages and hand-dyed cloth with black tea for the spine.
■ Socks
Lovely knit pattern fabric is used for the socks.
■ Ribbon
The head ribbon is made with soft colored luxurious silk rayon which is also soft to the touch.
